The 5th installment of SilentNoise is April 25th, 2012. Submissions due April 7th, 2012.
SUBMISSION PROCESS
Artists are asked to email up to 10 jpeg images of their work to silentnoisenyc@gmail.com by April 7th, for review. Notification of acceptance will be made via email.
● Please save and title each file in the following format: last name_first name_year of work_title.jpg
● Images must be no larger than 10MB
● Please include a list of titles and dimensions for each submission and your desired
opening bid for each piece (NO greater than $50)
Along with your submissions, we ask that you submit:
- Artist statement
- ½ page Biography
- Contact information; Email, phone number, and address
*INCOMPLETE SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED*
MEDIA
Work must be original. SilentNoise accepts all visual art mediums including photography, illustration, painting, mixed media, and sculpture. Video and audio work is not accepted at this time. Two dimensional works must be framed and ready for display and/or hanging. Three dimensional works should come with proper supports and/or casing for table top or floor display.
TRANSPORTATION
Artists will be responsible for transporting or shipping works to and from the exhibit. Further instructions to follow.
COMMISSION
SilentNoise 30%, artist 70%
